Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken in advance of a proposed development. The site was located within an area of open medieval fields. Archaeological remains of a deserted medieval settlement and various Roman finds had been found in the vicinity and a Bronze Age flint arrowhead had been found within the site itself. There was high potential for medieval remains and lower potential for remains from earlier and later periods within the proposed development area. [Au(adp)] |
