Abstract: |
A number of medieval features were revealed during the excavation. Pottery fragments dating from the late 11th to the early 16th centuries were recovered from the associated fills. Features comprised an east-west aligned potential boundary ditch, two gullies following the same alignment, and two sub-circular intercutting pits. An isolated post-medieval post hole suggested the potential for structural features within the area. A post-medieval well was also recorded. [Au(abr)] |
