Abstract: |
Four evaluations trenches were excavated to establish the nature of Roman and later archaeological deposits at the site. Features identified included a beam slot and associated post holes, gullies and a deep ditch. The majority of the finds were Roman to medieval but prehistoric finds were present on the site, suggesting some of the features may have been earlier than Roman in origin. [Au(abr)] |
