Abstract: |
<summary>Excavations were undertaken in advance of the cutting of a pipe trench. The pipeline cut through medieval and post-medieval boundaries next to King Arthur's Hall (SX 130 775) and through prehistoric field systems at Stannon (SX 126 799), where an early curvilinear field system was cut by a substantial prehistoric pasture boundary. One boundary was found to have been preceded by a wooden fence line of near-continuous posts. Environmental samples were extracted from a bog through which two of the boundaries ran. *{italon}Sec(22c){italoff} |
