Abstract:
An archaeological desk based assessment was carried out on land which was the subject of an Environmental Assessment. The assessment demonstrated that the site was part of the field system of Speke in the historic period, with the potential for further medieval and post medieval settlement remains on the north eastern edge of the site. A further limited programme of works was suggested to test this theory. [Au(adp)]
