Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on land to be used for the Hale Street Bypass. Thirty trenches were excavated by JCB to a pattern agreed with the County archaeologist. No archaeological features were observed, and only three artefacts were recovered; an undated fragment of tile, a modern sherd of stoneware and part of the handle of a 13th-14th century jug. [Au] |
