Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was maintained during the construction of a balancing lake in an area lying across the route of the Fosse Way. Following topsoil-stripping, a short stretch of the Roman road was identified. A watching brief during the diversion of a brook in a field to the west of the B4114 revealed no archaeological features or deposits.
