Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the construction of the Cannington Bypass. Field boundary ditches were visible in the trench sections, but no conclusively datable finds were made. The limited depth of the groundworks appears to account for the lack of significant archaeological remains being found. A number of flints were found during topsoil stripping which suggests prehistoric activity in the vicinity. [Au(abr)] |
