Abstract: |
The area had a high potential for the survival of evidence for prehistoric settlement and other activities. The area abutted important areas of the proposed Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. The Robinson's Shaft site will be designated as a nationally important monument through scheduling and listing, whilst selected buildings at South Crofty and the Basset Foundry have been listed. Development in this area would impact on the setting of both sites. [Au(abr)] |
