Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken by Warwickshire Museum at the rear of the Red Lion public house, High Street, Henley-in-Arden. The foundation trenches for six cottages were dug by machine in September 1992 in an area where the backyards of medieval houses were expected. No medieval deposits were revealed, although an 18th century cess-pit was identified along with a Victorian land drain. {italon}Sec(21c){italoff} |
