Abstract: |
An evaluation not requiring Scheduled Ancient Monument Consent comprising the excavation of two test pits revealed nothing of archaeological significance. The proposed groundworks for an improved firepath were considered unlikely to disturb significant archaeological deposits, so long as such works were confined to a maximum depth from the existing ground surface of 450mm.
