Abstract: |
Three evaluation trenches were excavated at the site. The northernmost trench revealed a large defensive ditch, which formed part of a previously identified Late Bronze Age/Iron Age hillfort, a Bronze Age pit and a ditch that cut the pit and the defensive ditch. A possible Saxon date tree throw was identified in one of the other trenches. [Au(adp)] |
