Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed redevelopment site. The site was identified as being fields prior to the construction of the railway. Augering deposits suggest the site may have been on a former course of the nearby river. A Roman Road may also have crossed part of the site. The assessment concluded that the potential for archaeology on the site was low to medium. [Au(abr)] |
