Abstract: |
The evaluation comprised the excavation and recording of a single trench. This revealed a deep sequence of sandy overburden comprising topsoil and subsoil which was largely devoid of artefacts. A ditch was revealed which contained a few fragments of worked flint and a quantity of animal bone. No other subsoil archaeological features were present. [AIP] |
