Abstract: |
An ancient well with a chamfered granite doorway was partly destroyed in 1991 when a tree fell onto it, but was restored in 2000. Although the place name (Ventonglidder) suggested that there had been a well there since at least medieval times. The structure revealed by the recent works was of probable 17th century origin, with a facade which had been slightly remodelled in the 20th century.[Au(abr)] |
