Abstract: |
The watching brief involved the drawing of elevations and plans of two shafts and the recording of a 'bull' engine house at Wheal Emily. A number of other adits and shafts were also photographed and recorded. The recording and consolidation of these structures were particularly important as mining features, and particularly as they led to the discovery of a previously unknown and rare type of engine house.[Au] |
