Abstract: |
During March 2004, three trenches were excavated to assess the presence or absence of archaeological activity at land in the grounds of Minster Engineering Works, Dennison Street, York. Trenches 1 and 2 exposed multiple Victorian dumped materials, and 19th/20th Century building footings. Trench 3 abandoned, as a large modern drainage culvert was located during clearance of the trench. [Au] |
