Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on the removal of contaminated soil, drainage and ground reduction. Health and safety reduced the monitoring effectiveness. A brick floor, canal lining, a canal wall, steps and a brick wall were recorded in the contaminated land trenches. Piers and a wall were identified during ground reduction and structures were identified during excavation for drainage. China pottery was recovered across the site. [Au(abr)] |
