Abstract: |
A range of archaeological features were identified during the evaluation. Features included a substantial ditch, a burnt feature (possibly a hearth), a large stone-packed post hole, and several other cut features of unknown function. A small number of sherds of Anglo-Saxon pottery were also recovered, which may have originated from the Anglo-Saxon site previously excavated a short distance to the north-west of the site.[Au(abr)] |
