Abstract:
An assessment was carried out for inclusion in a future environmental statement. One building from the initial phase of the colliery and a brick built entrance to a mineshaft were extant, the other buildings demolished upon closure in 1960. The area had been afforested, but was still considered to be of local importance. [Au(abr)]
