Abstract: |
The assessment was carried out as part of a promotion of the area. The potential for the survival of archaeological remains associated with the Roman Road and medieval droveway was considered to be low to moderate, while the potential for other periods was unknown. The alluvial landscape was deemed to have been conducive to early settlement, especially from the prehistoric period. [Au(adp)] |
