Abstract:
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken on the stripping of topsoil and the excavation of foundation trenches for new development. Most of the area had apparently never been built over, although in the 19th century and possibly earlier there were dwellings on the western part of the site. The pottery assemblage suggested that in the Medieval period the site was in no more than occasional use, perhaps in an agricultural context. {italon}AIP{italoff}
