Additional evaluation trenches were cut to the south of the line of trenches previously excavated in the area, in a part of a field not yet evaluated by that method. Only one feature of definite archaeological interest was located, probaby a field boundary or enclosure ditch of Iron Age date. Further watching briefs were recommended on that area to determine the extent of any more remains. [AIP] |
