Abstract: |
Desk based assessment confirmed that a building known as "The Manor" lay within the proposed development site. The 1610 map of Kingswood indicated a large house in Lower Easton at this date the exact location of which was not known. However, the presence of standing walls which date at least from the 17th century, suggested that a building may have stood on this site for at least three centuries. [Auths adap] |
