Abstract:		 Following a desk top assessment and a bore hole survey, four trial trenches were excavated on a site proposed for development. The excavations revealed that there was a good sequence of medieval deposits sealed below deposits of post-medieval date. The deposits had considerable potential for environmental analysis. Further investigation was recommended. [Au(abr)]
