Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken on the construction of access roads and sewers for a proposed housing development, in an area of potential archaeological significance. No medieval structures or features such as pits and property boundaries were encountered. The absence of features may have been due to landscaping of the area in the 19th century. Observation of topsoil-stripping and the excavation of foundation trenches was recommended. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
