Abstract:
A borehole survey was undertaken to evaluate the character and archaeological potential of an area of land alongside the River Avon. The survey results demonsrated that archaeological potential was low across most of the site except for an area adjacent to a church. However, deposits of palaeoenvironmental interest could be found in a postulated palaeochannel, although no organic rich deposits were identified. [Au(adp)]
