Abstract:		 An archaeological desk-based assessment of the site, prior to it's proposed redevelopment, indicated that the site was in an area rich in archaeological remains, with good evidence of prehistoric, Roman and medieval activity. However, the assessment also indicated that it had suffered from considerable modern disturbance. It had, therefore, little archaeological potential. [Au(adp)]
