Abstract: |
The evaluation identified a former topsoil of moderately recent date sealed beneath a dumped deposit associated with maintenance of the Westlode Drain. A single Romano-British pottery sherd was retrieved and was probably associated with the adjacent settlement. Other finds included pottery and tile of 19th-20th century date. [Au(abr)] |
