Abstract: |
A series of crop marks were recorded within the proposed development area on aerial photographs. The form of these cropmarks was suggestive of enclosures, however, trial excavation (ten trial trenches with a total length of 230m) showed them to be the result of a combination of geological changes, field drains and furrows. No early features were observed. [Au] |
