Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological strip and recording works were undertaken in advance of mineral extraction. The area within this report consisted of the second half of the Phase 1 works, the first of nine phases of work. No evidence of archaeological features were located. The discovery of a single flint blade of Neolithic date, together with previously identified features and findspots, did indicate archaeological activity within the area. [Au(adp)] |
