A watching brief during stancheon hole excavation for the construction of a new barn at Foston Hall Farm, within an area of earthworks of the deserted medieval village of Foston, showed evidence of construction material for an earthwork bank on a north-south alignment. No other significant archaeological deposits or material was recovered. [Au(adp)] |
