A watching brief recorded the historic riverbank constructed between 1843-1884, the foundation of the rear extension of a cottage built between 1843 and 1884, the foundations of an outbuilding constructed between 1884 and 1907, two post-medieval slat built box-drains draining the road leading to the ford and the Old Road and various layers of 19th and 20th century road make-up.
