Abstract: |
The land adjacent to the application area had already been examined in a number of evaluations and watching briefs. From this evidence and that of cartographic sources it was established that the area was likely to contain significant Roman evidence as well as the possibility of Civil War defences and information on the development of the suburbs of Gloucester. |
