Abstract: |
The archaeology evaluation consisted of twenty-nine trial trenches. Archaeological features were found in five of the trenches, consisting of four linear features, a pit and a post-medieval quarry or pond. Ridge and furrow was present in fifteen of the trenches. The majority of the artefactual dating evidence was post-medieval, with a number of worked flints and medieval pottery sherds. [Au(adp)] |
