Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment for the area of the development confirmed that although there were no known sites in the development area, it was an area of archaeological potential. Further work in the form of field trials were required to evaluate the likely impact of the development on any surviving archaeological deposits, and any necessary mitigation measures could then be formulated.
