Abstract: |
Ivy and other vegetation was removed from the ruins of Trowse Newton Hall, a medieval flint and mortar manor house, as part of a programme of stabilisation and minor restoration. A previously unrecorded blocked doorway or window was examined during archaeological monitoring and a small excavation in the southern corner of the ruined building exposed part of the foundations.
