Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment for the proposed re-developments at the site concluded that medieval archaeological sites, possibly all related to the medieval village of Clifford, were known within the proposed development area and were likely to have been impacted upon by the proposals. The archaeological potential for the fields of ridge and furrow in the east was unknown. Hedgerows of some significance were situated in this area. Remains pre-dating the medieval period may have been located beneath the ridge and furrow. [Au(adp)] |
