Observation of the ground works associated with the construction of the new Old Park estate roads failed to reveal any traces of sub-surface archaeological features, although a scatter of prehistoric flints recovered from the topsoil across the site was suggestive of Neolithic-Bronze Age activity in the immediate area.[Au(abr)] |
