Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks associated with the erection of a workshop and welfare facility. All features and structures revealed could be dated no earlier that the 19th century. Of particular interest were four millstones. These were located well within the limits of the old Oil Cake manufactory, first recorded on an 1885 map that once stood on the site. [Au(abr)] |
