Abstract:		 A desk based assessment of a proposed borrow pit site was undertaken. The assessment established that there were no sites of archaeological interest recorded in the application area itself, but during previous gravel extraction Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age remains had been discovered less than 200m away from the proposed borrow pit boundary. Further investigation was recommended. [Au(abr)]
