Abstract: |
The appraisal area comprised two arable fields lying on the Lower Greensand adjacent to a known medieval house (Backsettown) and a medieval road. Existing records suggested that the site had the potential for containing archaeological deposits of Roman and medieval date. Further evidence of prehistoric date might also be expected. [Au(abr)] |
