Abstract: |
A walkover survey in advance of gravel extraction recovered a small quantity of worked flint and a few items of post-medieval metalwork and pottery. These were dispersed sparsely over the area surveyed without clear concentrations. The flint was dated to the Neolithic and Bronze Age period. Subsequent machine-stripping of topsoil revealed no archaeological features. [Au] |
