Abstract:		 On 28th April 2003, Winchester Museum Service carried out an archaeological watching brief at Orchard Cottage, Southwick Road, North Boarhunt during groundwork for the construction of a new barn/workshop. The site was thought to lie on or close to the line of the Roman road from Chichester to Bitterne. No evidence for the road or other archaeological features was observed. [Au]
