Abstract: |
All eight trenches excavated produced a soil sequence and a range of features indicative of a long history of occupation. The earliest feature was a drain for a Roman road, and other Roman, medieval and post-medieval features and finds were plentiful. Further archaeological investigations were recommended ahead of development and several other recommendations were also made.[AIP] |
