Abstract: |
The watching brief found that no evidence of the chimney survived a the eastern end of the building, but works uncovered the remains of the north wall of the furnace room and part of its western wall. Three fire doors were also uncovered on the western side of the extant building. One of the doors was damaged but this showed that the associated furnace was still extant. [Au(abr)] |
