Abstract:		 Whilst no prehistoric or Roman sites were identified by the assessment in the proposed development area, a number of Iron Age and Roman native settlements were known within the district. As a result, there was potential for archaeological remains from this period to be present at the site, as well as medieval ridge and furrow. This was expected to be encountered and recording of this feature was aimed for. [Au(adp)]
