Abstract: |
Two human burials were revealed during the construction of a new wall for the company's body shop. Canterbury Archaeological Trust were called in to inspect the remains as the coroner stated that the bones were too badly decomposed to be of recent date. Since the burials were located close to the line of Watling Street it was assumed that they were of Roman date. [AIP] |
