Abstract:
As part of the assessment of the environmental impact of a woodland grant scheme on agricultural land an archaeological fieldwalking survey was undertaken. The survey gathered a large assemblage of prehistoric flint and pottery, as well as pottery from the Roman, medieval and post-medieval periods. The exercise helped in the formulation of plans for further archaeological investigations. [AIP]
