Abstract: |
Desk based assessment and field appraisal identified several sites of archaeological significance. These included the line of Nico Ditch, the 'Lord Nelson', an early building perhaps located on a medieval occupation site, and the remains of a probable canal warehouse. These would warrant trial trenching. In addition several buildings identified would require either RCHME II survey or a photographic survey prior to demolition. [Au(abr)] |
